The Solar System

This exciting solar system activity bundle allows children to explore space while developing science knowledge, early math, literacy, and fine motor skills through hands-on learning. Children will color, cut, and match each planet to its correct name, then build their own solar system by placing the planets in the correct order using the included diagram. They will learn planet names, their order, and basic space concepts. Children will practice early literacy by matching the first letter of each planet’s name to the correct planet. The astronaut puzzle activity allows children to color, cut, and rebuild the astronaut, developing problem-solving, concentration, visual skills, and hand-eye coordination. Additional activities include coloring planets while learning their names, creating reusable astronaut figures by printing, coloring, and laminating, and matching the number of suns to the number shown on the astronaut.
