FAQ
Busy book questions, answered
What age is a busy book for?
Our busy book pages are designed for toddlers and preschoolers, roughly ages 2 to 5. Younger children enjoy simple matching and colour pages, while older preschoolers can take on tracing, counting and early-letter activities.
What do I need to make a busy book?
A printer, a laminator (or self-adhesive laminating sheets), a hole punch and a ring binder or book rings. Velcro dots are handy for the matching and sorting pages.
How long does it take to make one?
Most families print, laminate and bind a full busy book in under an hour — often before nap time is over.
Can the pages be reused?
Yes. Once laminated, every page wipes clean and can be used again and again. Use a dry-erase marker for the tracing pages.
What skills does a busy book develop?
Busy books build fine motor skills, hand–eye coordination, concentration and early maths and literacy concepts through hands-on, screen-free play.
