Item description
These exciting transportation activities help children develop early literacy, math, and fine motor skills while learning about community vehicles.
Children will practice pre-writing skills by tracing fun swirly lines that guide transportation vehicles to their destinations. This activity strengthens pencil control, hand-eye coordination, and prepares children for handwriting. For repeated use, print, laminate, and use a dry-erase marker.
Children can also print, color, cut, and assemble 3D transportation vehicles, including fire trucks, police cars, school buses, and taxis. These hands-on activities encourage creativity, problem-solving, and spatial awareness while strengthening fine motor skills.
Additional activities include counting similar vehicles and circling the correct number, helping children develop counting and number recognition skills. Children will also color and trace the names of transportation vehicles, building vocabulary, letter recognition, and early writing skills. Once laminated, they can repeatedly trace the words with a dry-erase marker.
Matching activities allow children to connect each vehicle to its correct name and match vehicles to their proper destinations. These reusable activities strengthen visual tracking, concentration, and problem-solving skills.
